A Contact is a person. A Company is an organization. Contacts can be linked to a Company. In professional-services firms, every client is typically a Contact (or a small company with a primary contact). In B2B sales, you often work through Companies.
Click "New Contact" from the sidebar or the Contacts list page. Required: first name. Optional but recommended: email, phone, company, job title. You can also upload from a CSV — see the Import guide.
Each contact has a full profile with tabbed sections:
Tags let you group and filter contacts freely. Add any tag from the Overview tab. Tags are shared across contacts and companies in your workspace, so typing a tag name auto-suggests existing ones.
When multiple contacts are linked to a company, mark one as primary. The primary contact appears first in company views and is used as the default recipient for invoices and emails sent to the company.
Click "Export CSV" on the Contacts list page to download all contacts as a spreadsheet. The export respects current filters, so you can export a subset (e.g. only active contacts).
