Create tasks, assign them to your team, track them as a list or board, and log time against them.
Tasks are the unit of day-to-day work in Oris Work: a thing that one or more people must do by a date. A task can stand alone or be linked to a client, contact, deal, lead or project. Tasks that belong to an engagement also carry the time logged against that engagement. Open Tasks from the sidebar.
Use the List, Board and Workload switch at the top right.
Click Edit on a task to open its details. Below the form you can work with:
When you mark a recurring task Done, Oris Work creates the next occurrence automatically, due one day, week, month or year after the previous due date. This needs a due date on the task, and no new task is created once the next date would pass the recurrence End date.
Creating and editing tasks follows your role's permissions for Tasks (see Roles and Permissions). By default every team role can create and edit, while deleting is limited to admins. The task list shows all tasks in your organisation, not only your own; use Workload or the dashboard banners (for example overdue tasks with no owner) to narrow in.
